it’s exposed beams burnt timber and open plans

but it’s hardly a modern structure for

there are no glass walls to peer out of

and corners of brooding darkness reign within



it’s an abode composed of many styles

a colonial cotswald storybook mishmash

that a wall of dressed stone hides from view
