DAILY SPRING DEVOTIONAL. Thursday, March 27th, 2025.
FOUNDATION SCRIPTURE:
◄ Proverbs 3:5-6 ►
"Trust in The LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."
HOLY SPIRIT, HAVE YOUR WAY.
TOPIC: LET GO, AND LET GOD.
Are you hesitating on something, trying to figure things out, all on your own? LET GO AND TRUST GOD. His ways are higher (Isaiah 55:8-9), His plans are perfect, and when we yield, He leads us into purpose beyond imagination.
Abraham trusted when God called him to an unknown land (Hebrews 11:8). Peter walked on water when he fixed his eyes on Jesus (Matthew 14:29). Every great move of God begins with trust, not certainty. When we acknowledge God not just in spiritual matters but in ALL things, He takes the weight of direction off our shoulders and orders our steps (Psalm 37:23).
God's plan for us is always good. The challenge lies in our desire to control things and have our way in this present generation. The natural mind wants to “accomplish” and make it work....God is saying Surrender it all and trust Him wholeheartedly. Think of the Israelites wandering in the wilderness, though their journey seemed endless, God provided daily guidance through the pillar of cloud by day and fire by night. He didn’t show them the entire path at once but faithfully led them step by step.
Trusting God is a declaration of faith. It is choosing to give God control of every area of our lives and believing that His plans are higher and His vision broader than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). When faced with challenges, leaning on God doesn't mean ignoring our thoughts or emotions, but rather intentionally yielding them all to the Holy Spirit, while staying confident that He will guide our steps.
God has a way of straightening what feels crooked, aligning what seems chaotic, and making sense of the senseless issues and situations. When we acknowledge Him in all our ways, He takes the burden all on Himself and we gain the peace of walking in His divine purpose (Philippians 4:6-7).
Let today be the day you abandon self-reliance and embrace surrender IN CHRIST. Trust Him not just with the big decisions, but the small, everyday moments too. In surrender, we’ll find His steady Hand leading us on a path of clarity and purpose.
Are there areas of your life where you're trying to figure things out on your own? Today, invite God to take over, trusting that His ways are higher than ours. Even when everything seems unclear, God's promises remain steadfast. Rest in the assurance that He knows the end from the beginning, and His plans are meant for your good.
ALWAYS REMIND YOURSELF;
Isaiah 55:8-9: "My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways."
Jeremiah 29:11: "I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you."
Romans 8:28: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him.”

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Heavenly Father, I come to You in need of Your grace. I repent of my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose again. Come into my heart, LORD Jesus Christ, and be my LORD and Savior. Amen. ( Acts 16:31)

1) Prayer of repentance and forgiveness
"People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy." Proverbs 28:13.
Confess your sins and shortcomings. Ask God for forgiveness.
2) LORD God Almighty, I surrender my understanding to You and choose to trust You completely. Lead me, direct me, and make my path straight. I rest in Your wisdom, now and always, in Jesus Christ's Name. Amen.
3) My Father, my Creator and my ALL IN ALL. Teach me to trust You fully, with my whole heart. Guide me in every decision, every path, and align my steps with Your perfect will for my life. In Jesus Christ's Mighty Name, amen.
