Back home (finally)

Back home (finally)

Mar 30, 2020

Dear Everyone,

I am home and back in front of the keyboard. My responses and typing will be slow, but I will do my best to keep up comments now. Note that I really debated about posting my health issues here. I did so only so that contributors would know that I had not abandoned the site or had become ungrateful.

My recovery will take about 6 to 9 months, so we won't be able to foster any friends for awhile. Of course, we will be caring for all six tails that wag around this place every day and give us more unconditional love than I deserve.

The story of one of failed fosters is below. We named her Malibu Barbie and she gave birth to seven puppies in the garage some time later. My dear wife found homes for all of Barbie's offspring, except for one: Willy. Willy has seizures and requires extra love and attention. Well, it was obvious that we would simply have to keep mom and son together, so we adopted both of them together. We adore them and they are the pair on the front page: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/distanceprep

Take good care and please stay well. The world needs you in it.

PS Barbie's story is below, and we believe that is our girl in the picture. Willy is obviously not pictured.
