This is a DIY project my husband & I did. We covered an existing cornice board we made. The decorations on the padded fabric board are made with pizza pans from the dollar store! I bought the foam disks there as well. I covered them with sparkled scrapbook paper on the top and painted the edges of the disks with craft paint. The atomic mirrored disks were purchased as a scratch and dent. We purchased drapes with a retro vintage vibe and created a whole new look for our dining room that is circa late 50's early 6o's. We covered the original hand painted cornice board by using L brackets to place the new one over it. It's really funky looking. Over the holidays I use silver polka dotted ribbon and white foam snowflakes to give it a festive winter look!
