I am Dimko Zhluktenko, an ordinary Ukrainian with an extraordinary mission. Since 24th February 2022, I have given up my fancy IT jobs to save my country from russian invasion. I never expected anything in return from the world, but many people started following my efforts and asking how they could help—both me personally and my initiatives. I could not stand aside and tried to do everything for Ukraine's fight.
It started as a personal initiative funded by my own savings and has grown into a full-scale charity: Dzyga's Paw, named after my dog Dzyga 🐾. This fund supports the Ukrainian military with high-tech equipment. Thanks to global support from ordinary people, we have raised and effectively spent over $3,000,000 to provide critical gear for Ukrainian defenders. You can learn more at dzygaspaw.com.
I built up all the processes in charity and let other people run it, because I decided to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine to directly contribute to our fight for freedom. While my role in the military is challenging, I continue to share my journey and insights as a writer and through my YouTube channel, @LiberUkraine, where I help Western audiences understand the war—both technically and emotionally.

I also have two dreams, and most of the funds raised here will go toward achieving them:
- Writing a book: I want to tell the story of what I’ve done since February 2022. It’s a unique experience, and I believe it’s a story worth sharing with the world. Supporters will motivate me to write, and I will share unedited essays and updates with you along the way, welcoming your feedback. It's supposed to be published in 2025.
- Opening a bike shop in Lviv after the war: Cycling has always been my passion, and I dream of creating a vibrant cycling space in my beloved city, even amidst the disruptions of war.
