I am so excited to know my "Just a Point of View" podcast/videocast is making a positive difference to other people as I chase happiness fiercely. I don't think I've loved doing something so much in my adult life. I love learning about all the doors a podcast/videocast can open. This is the very best part. The more I study this craft, the more my excitement and passion for it grows.
I started this podcast/videocast journey not knowing where I was going to take my topic exploration when it launched. I wanted to learn how to create a podcast/videocast and integrate it into my business as a marketing tool. There are so many things that fascinate me and I have life experience doing. I've always been involved with marketing, sales and management of the companies I've owned. I've been responsible for driving activities for non-management positions I've held in the past with other companies, too. I've ALWAYS loved talking to people. I've been developing my speaker skills over the years and thought it would be cool to become a paid keynote speaker. When I bought The Concierge Office Suites in 2006, I knew I had to get out here and let people know about the company if I was going to make this 11-year-old company grow! As of 2024, The Concierge Office Suites is 29 years young. I've attended some conferences, participated in webinars, taken some public speaking classes, and became a member of the local Wordspinners Club of Toastmasters International in addition to joining the National Speakers Association Georgia Chapter. All this work was parallel activity to learning more about social media, D.I.Y. video production, and I'm adding the use of A.I. tools. I'm honing this craft and loving every minute of it!
When I started this podcasting/videocasting adventure, there were a few things I did know:
I love speaking!
I know podcasting/videocasting opens doors for brand recognition, community building, and money making.
I love meeting new people and developing my network of connections.
All the A.I. tools out now have radically changed marketing for images, writing and websites.
With a willingness to learn and curiosity for the 'what's possible', you can create a successful podcast/videocast.
All this to say, "Thank you for buying me a coffee." I'm going to keep going on this adventure as I pay attention to the 'little things' along the way. I'm continuing to chase happiness fiercely as part of this adventure and share it with you. I've decided to develop this podcasting/videocasting adventure so you can join in the fun.
