A proposito di Denise Cooper
I carry a rare gene called POT1.
It means my body plays by different rules.
Over the years, cancer has shown up more than once—thyroid cancer, melanomas, and now small tumors in my lung and brain. Some have been removed. Others are watched closely. None of this was part of the plan, but it’s part of my reality.
Because of this condition, long-term sick insurance isn’t an option for me. When I have to step away to be sick, there’s no safety net waiting underneath. What is waiting, though, is my family—the people I love and want to keep providing for, no matter what my health decides to do next.
This page exists so I can keep going. So I can work when I’m able, rest when I must, and still show up for the people who depend on me. Support here isn’t charity—it’s stability. It’s time. It’s peace of mind on the hard days.
If you choose to buy me a coffee, you’re helping me protect my family during moments I can’t control. And that means more than I can put into words.
Thank you for standing with me 🤍☕
