As we enter the third year of Russia's full scale invasion of Ukraine, the need for support continues to grow. Over the past few months, I have been focusing on working a group of U.S. military veterans providing individual first aid kits for front line troops and medic kits for combat medics saving lives of wounded soldiers.
With your donations, we purchase all of the individual supplies (tourniquets, chest seals, trauma bandages, hemostatic gauze, etc.) needed to create a world-class individual first aid kits (IFAKs) for front line troops.
Then we partner with our NGOs in Ukraine to deliver our first aid kits to front line soldiers.
We also build medic kits - multi-purpose trauma aid kits are loaded with vital medical equipment for treatment of multiple injuries and designed to help stabilize critically injured defenders - that we provide to combat medics serving on the front lines.
As volunteers we are responsible for all of our own living expenses (lodging, meals, etc.) as well as helping to purchase equipment and supplies (shovels, gloves, masks, helmets, body armor, first aid and medical supplies); transportation (trains, buses, etc.); and providing direct support to individual soldiers, combat medics and individual families.
100% of every dollar will go to providing humanitarian and disaster relief aid directly to local communities, families and individuals devastated by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
