My goal as an artist working with NFTs is to develop a model where the fans, that are the foundation of the wealth of an art brand through their loyal support, make the big ticket sales with sales on the secondary market while I get my needs met from volume of sales and royalties. With NFT's, a digital collectible with proof of ownership, an artists early work will appreciate as they go from emerging to established and fans that supported early can see an ROS (return on support) with sales on secondary markets.
I will never sell my digital work for a high ticket cost but in large enough quantities at a low price to support a base foundation for my independent art business. As the business grows and sales are made on the secondary market the royalties from those sales will provide a secondary income on top of the established baseline providing me with everything I need to thrive in my life. I will never stop creating and my goal isn't to be rich but be fully supported by my art. This doesn't take millions of fans it only takes a few thousand dedicated fans to build a solid foundation that can grow into something much larger. With NFTs those early dedicated fans can be right there with the artist as their career develops, get VIP access to the artist and even participate in brand development. This is the future of fan to artist relationship where all parties get to prosper from the success of the art.
