A Grateful Review & A Reflection On The Industry

Passing the VicRoads drive test does not necessarily create safer and better drivers, it merely gives them access to driving solo. What those drivers learn before the test, will determine how they drive for the rest of their life!

Think about this - anyone can easily go to a driving instructor that only teaches them to pass the drive test. Driving instructors can literally teach anything they want, in anyway they want - there are no standards, except the drive test criteria.

The Government still haven't come to the party when it comes to driver education, so people like me have to keep trying to create the change we want and need.

Every day, passionate driving instructors like myself are out on the roads dealing with a rise in worse conditions. From poorly maintained roads, to road users putting us at risk, to changes in road rules that no-one obeys but us! It's an extremely mentally fatiguing role that doesn't get appreciated.
