I've created a little treat for you before the holidays:
Create animated brush strokes in Camtasia, an asset you can use again and again, customize, add to your library and add a little flair to your videos.
This has been on my mind for a long time and I've finally managed to record and edit the entire minicourse.
Not only will you learn how to create these wonderfully dynamic assets, but also how to use them as masks to reveal pictures, videos, titles, and other content within your projects.
Throughout the video, I explain each step in detail, starting from how to source brushes through either creating them in Photoshop or downloading them from the internet.
We'll then dive into detailed instructions on animating the brushes and assembling them with different colours and effects. I do not leave anything out.
I show you absolutely all the steps required, we go through creating guide arrows to manage the direction and speed of the brush animations.
We look at a bug Camtasia has to do with the group geometry and how to work around that.
Lastly, I'll show you how to reveal assets underneath these animated brushes effectively.
This minicourse is ideally suited for those looking to add an artistic touch to their videos, whether for personal projects, work presentations or YouTube content.
You do not need super expensive or complicated software to achieve these animated brush strokes - just Camtasia and a little ingenuity.
