This journey of ours started in July 2020 right in the middle of COVID Lockdown when a friend of mine Soumith encouraged me to do something with my passion for cricket .
It also happened to be the time when the Telugu Podcast scene was taking off and a number of podcasts were mushrooming all over the place. Being an ardent listener of cricket podcasts for nearly a decade , I thought it would be great if we had a platform for cricketing conversations in Telugu.
That is when I pinged Raju (whom I had acquainted with at a wedding the year before) and pitched this idea which finally culminated into Cricket Nagaram becoming "The First Telugu Cricket Podcast".
Thanks to COVID , the IPL moved to Sept - Nov and we had all the time that we needed to produce exclusive previews for each IPL team , post match discussions and Weekly wrap-up discussions. Slowly and steadily we started getting noticed , our listenership has steadily increased and we've kept churning out content post-IPL as well with guest interviews ,collaborations , nostalgia , Test match previews/reviews etc . Our team also grew with Karthikeya , Sampath and Nakul joining us and our voices are now being heard all over the world.
We successfully released our 50th episode recently and are hungry to produce more . But for the last 6 months , Cricket Nagaram has been running solely on passion and in order to take this to the next level we would need some help.
Kindly support us with the contribution of your choice and we promise you that it will be spent entirely on making our podcast episodes better for you and help us in becoming a one stop destination for Telugu cricket lovers all over the world.
