A proposito di Cotton and Clay Farm & Homestead
We're the Youngbloods — a family on a mission to build a life that means something.
Right now we're living with my elderly father in Alabama, caring for him while we work toward something bigger. We've spent the last year learning, building, and preparing — putting in garden beds, compost systems, and hugelkulture mounds on his land while we save for a piece of ground to call our own.
We think we've found it. Ten thousand dollars stands between us and the land where this homestead truly begins.
Every video we make documents the real journey — the wins, the failures, the costs, and the work. No sugar coating. No pretending it's easy. Just a family trying to grow their own food, reduce what they owe the world, and build something worth passing down.
Faith keeps us moving when the progress feels slow. Purpose keeps us building when we're tired. And the land we're working toward keeps us showing up every single day.
If you believe in what we're doing, even a small amount goes directly toward that $10,000 goal — and every dollar gets us one step closer to the land where this story really takes off.
We're grateful you're here. — The Youngbloods

Our farm stand is officially hitting a $50 gross on the days we’re open! I want to be clear about what that looks like: we aren't open every day yet. Between our full-time jobs and caring for my 86-year-old father here i...

People often ask why we’re working so hard to build this homestead. The answer is simple. We’re not just building a house. We’re building a purpose. This land will be more than a place to live. It’ll be where we grow food, raise animals, teach our kids and grandkids, learn new skills, make plenty of mistakes, and share every bit of the journey with all of you. We want it to be a place that...
