Yes, I do admit, that I haven't published long-form Youtube in a good while. Life was busy. Staffing sucked ass as all restaurant jobs so since Pandemic happened. I have been shooting a lot of quicker vertical videos on iG as it's been easier to edit and upload on my phone.
This video was shot sometime in my old place last year. I had gone to a Japanese restaurant in Eagle Rock and ordered this and upon examining it--this dish is so easy to replicate and probably at a fraction of the price because we all have some sort of carbonated water or beer, flour, water, mayo and hotsauce.
Extra credit if you can find Yuzu togarashi, which my old GM let me take as all of the packets had expired (they are still edible). Yama Sushi in the SGV and Koreatown carries it if you're intrigued.
I do have a small cache of videos that still need to be edited and yes, I will continue to keep making cooking videos since I still have a good time and I love showing people that it's great to just stay home to cook even though I do work in the restaurant industry and customers is how I stay employed.
