Blessing

Aug 28, 2025

A simple gesture can have little meaning to someone that gives a blessing to someone. But that person that receives it, can feel so loved and recognized. That person's life can change drastically from a small gesture.

For example, A gentleman walked in our doors very hungry but also scared and ashamed. I was serving food and handing out desserts when he walked up and asked for a dessert. But he was so soft spoken, scared, and very embarrassed. I couldn't hear him, so I spoke up a little bit and asked if he wanted a piece of cake. He looked around as if he was gonna get bullied for his piece of cake. I said, bro, dont be worried. You can have anything you want and enjoy it in peace, here. There are a lot of people that walk up and ask for food and dessert as well, so don't be embarrassed or ashamed that you want something. He sat down by himself and ate his food.

This gentleman came back everyday, started attended services, and he became more at ease.

Now, it took about a year, but because we were always there for him, we showed him compassion, and shared the love of Jesus Christ with him.

Then, one day he just disappeared. He came back about 6 months later, sober, clean, with his own vehicle, and excited to tell us about his job he got.

He thanked us so much for always being there for him and making him feel like he's worth something. He expressed, that through all that we did for him, and how JESUS transformed his life, that he became the man he is now.

We are so proud of him, and we rejoice everytime someone gets off the streets, kicks the drug addiction, and changes their life to become a better person.

Its a huge victory to see. I hope you enjoyed this testimony and miracle that only Jesus could do.
