Three years ago - March 2022 - I decided to freely share my Zazzle earnings calculator spreadsheet by posting it here to the Zazzle forums as a free download. I have no idea how many people have actually downloaded it since then and found it helpful but it's probably my most popular post in the forums, with over 7,500 views and 28 Kudos at this writing. (That post contains details and tips, complete with screenshots, on using the sheet.)
I used this sheet all the time myself, and often to help other forum members with their questions about their earnings. After a fellow Designer introduced me to Buy Me a Coffee, I decided to add my sheet here while still leaving it available as a free download via the link in my forum post. My thinking was, many have monetized their Zazzle tips, tricks, tutorials and tools so why not?. My plan was to leave it as a FREE download via my forum link, but provide a link to Buy Me a Coffee so people could voluntarily opt to send me a little something in an amount of their choosing if they found it to be helpful or if they've already been using it for years and appreciated it.
So on March 19, 2025, I finally formatted a Buy Me a Coffee post explaining all this and including a link to download another version of the sheet edited only to add a Thank You "badge" to it. But I wasn't in any rush to update my forum thread with the new BMAC link. And then, not even a full two days later, the announcement about the new Zazzle terms came out on March 21, making my existing sheet that's been in use for three years obsolete, and therefore my new BMAC post about it . Go figure. The irony of this had me laughing out loud.
Sooo .. At this point (March 26) I have disabled the link to the orig sheet in my orig post on the forums as it no longer covers all the bases. I am almost finished with a temp sheet that will suffice for figuring out earnings not counting PP2 referrals and will share that soon. After April 1st when we can see how the new PP2 ("self-promotion links") will actually pay out, I'll be making a sheet for that.
