Please read these terms carefully before commissioning us. You will always be provided the base TOS in your invoice. Eveything else here is eveything from the invoice only more detailed.
General Rules:
All business inquiries should be directed to our Coordinator, Velvet (@SelfDugGrave).
You must be at least 18 years old to commission us.
You must be of sound mind when commissioning us. No refunds will be given if you violate this rule.
We will not tolerate rude, impatient, demanding, or verbally abusive behavior.
Unsolicited sexual or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your commission request for any reason. (See Refund Policy)
Before Commissioning Us:
Please have the following information ready:
A clear image or reference sheet of the character(s) you want. - When submitting your character references, please be sure to send the highest quality you have available. Working with a low quality reference image is extremely difficult to work with, and at times impossible.
We do not accept 3d or VR character refrenses.
We do not accept links to external sources to the images. Please be able to submit the correct files yourself.
If you are unable to provide your character reference images, then we cannot proceed with your commission.Details about your commission, including pose, expressions, themes, and background preferences.
Your email address for receiving the PayPal invoice.
Full payment ready, unless we've discussed and agreed upon a payment plan.
Note, that we typically do not provide Work-In-Progress (WIP) updates. Unless agreed upon otherwise.
Additionally no ETAs, TATs, or anything related to time and queue order will ever be provided.
For commissions involving a third party, we require proof of consent from all parties involved. Surprise gifts will be automatically denied.
All commissions and adopt purchases are made through PayPal, with the exception of Ko-Fi commissions.
If you require more examples of previous commissions, we upload everything right here on Ko-Fi. Otherwise we backup posts to, Mastodon, Weasyl, and Pixelfed. Please checkout those platforms if you need to see more examples.
Refund Policy:
Refunds will not be given if you violate these terms.
If we cannot complete your commission, we may offer a full or partial refund, depending on the circumstances. If work has begun, you'll receive the completed work alongside a partial refund based on progress.
Rights:
We retain the right to use commissioned pieces featuring your character for self-promotion, advertising, and portfolio purposes, unless agreed otherwise for private commissions.
You reserve the right to use the finished commission for personal purposes, including cropping, editing, and posting with proper credit ("Art by CaffeinatedCultist").
You may not profit from our artwork, remove watermarks, or claim it as your own. (You may make your own physical merch, for personal use only.)
You may not use our artwork for AI or NFT-related endeavors.
Customer Data Privacy Policy:
By commissioning our services, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that your information will be processed through our Coordinator, SelfDugGrave.
We will only use your provided information for our transaction and communication. This includes your email address, contact details, and reference materials for the artwork.
We will retain payment invoices for tax purposes and proof of work for up to 5 years. Any other images or text you send may be deleted at your request.
