I've been working on a bunch of stuff lately, one of which of course includes the seventh book! As mentioned in the previous post, I declared no more lollygagging, and (for the most part), there has been no more lollygagging! The cover has been in progress for the past month or so. It's coming along quite well, which I'm excited about! I can't wait for the finished product.
I've also decided to start investing more in my career, at least as much as I am able to with how broke I am. I will be making and ordering bookmarks for the books that don't yet have any. The first ones up will be Emergent and TAV. I also want to be able to supply people with signed copies. I don't get asked about that very often, but at this point it has happened enough times that I'm frustrated that I keep having to pass up those opportunities.
Kind of related in the merch sense, I stopped offering the Dragons' Myth pendants. Hopefully they will make a return in the future, but as for the foreseeable future, it's a no go as I no longer have a 3D printer.
Lastly, I have been working on going through my older books (starting with DM) again. I believe I mentioned previously that when I was working on TAV, I found a really helpful tool for catching errors. Since then, I figured it would be a good idea to go through my other books with that tool to clean up any errors that made it through, and now I'm finally getting around to doing that. (This isn't making any new editions, this is just correcting any spelling/grammar errors I find).
So, here's to progress! I'm excited to see what 2024 will bring.
