My old friend, insomnia, paid me another visit last night.
In the sleepless early hours of the morning, I decided to go and take photos of the sunrise.
I headed down to the Whalebone Pier in Umhlanga Rocks and took a few quick photos.
A slight salty breeze caressed my face as I stood there, and took in the scene in front of me. Some remnants of yesterday's activities could still be seen recorded in the sand.
The blue lights of the pier mixed with the warm hues of the sunrise on the sand and in the water.
The cool water gently washed onto the shore and seemed to be bringing with it the new day.
