Lightning and Moon over the Ocean.

Sometimes life surprises you when you least expect it. Sitting at home this evening during Loadshedding, I heard the familiar distant rumble that could only be a thunderstorm. There were no forecasts saying that there would be a thunderstorm so it was completely unexpected... I grabbed my camera and headed down to the promenade in Umhlanga Rocks. The whole scene played out like a scene from a fairytale of sorts: The moon peeping out from behind the clouds and shining down onto the ocean, the lightning lighting up those clouds, the rumble of the thunder overpowering the rumble of the ocean. It was magical to see. Something I'll never forget... I hope you like this photo... This is a composite image created from some of the images that I captured, which have then been overlayed to create the single image. South Africa is filled with beauty, and often the beauty reveals itself quite unexpectedly. I am Proudly South African.
