Day 44, Lockdown South Africa. Level 4.
How are you feeling today?
"I am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everything; but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do." Edward Everett Hale.
Today I have been reminded (again) of what can happen when people come together to help each other.
I witnessed a few amazing people come together to help some people that I know that have been left without the ability to work, as well as help their pets.
During this time, there are people that really are struggling, and if you can make a small difference in someone's life, do so. We all need to try and help each other where we can and within our means.
It takes a single domino to start a chain reaction. It takes one person to start a movement. A single spark can light the way for so many. Be that spark.
At the same time, if you need help, don't be afraid to ask. There are some incredible people out there, and people do incredible things.
Help each other. Support each other. We need each other.
This photo shows a single lightning bolt over the greater Johannesburg area. A single, yet incredible power that if you could harness, would be able to light up and power your house for months.
Be the light in someone's life.
We have a magnificent country and I love everything it has to offer.
I am Proudly South African.
