The museum hosts meetings with visiting speakers on a wide range of topics and runs town walks focusing on specific time periods. It's a fascinating place to visit, or just to look at the website.
But there are a number of other very useful places to find more information about this old town's history. It was founded in the year 75 CE - or so we believe. So it must be one of the oldest towns in the UK!
