a way to learn openings from historical games
Chesstoteles brings chess history to life. Explore historical games by great players, analyzed move by move and explained clearly.
The focus is on openings as humans actually play them. Instead of dry theory, you’ll see how openings emerged in real games, the ideas behind them, and how the game unfolded from there. That way, you don’t just memorize openings, you understand them.
Analyze your own games, too: Upload your own PGN file and use all features of Chesstoteles with your games. Everything runs locally in your browser. Your games are not uploaded to any server and stay on your device.
Chesstoteles is free to use. If you enjoy it, you can support its ongoing development with a voluntary contribution, helping to add more games, analyses, and features.
