ChatGPT Had Me Boo-Hoo’in at My Computer

Story time:
One day, as I was scrolling through TikTok (I know, don’t judge!), I came across a video that instantly caught my attention. The creator said, “If you use ChatGPT…” and just like that, I was hooked. Then came the prompt:image

“Now that you can remember everything I’ve ever typed here, point out my top five blind spots.”

I didn’t try it right away—because who wants to get dragged by an AI? 😂 But today, while sitting at my desk planning my next class, it hit me: this would make such a powerful prompt for my former students and blog fam. So, I gave it a try.

And whew—I was not ready.
Not only was it eerily accurate, but it also felt like a validation... and permission. Permission to pause, to rest, and to extend grace to myself. Overachiever? Absolutely. Workaholic tendencies? Maybe. But when I read what it reflected back to me? Let’s just say the tears came.

So in the spirit of vulnerability (and maybe helping someone else feel seen), I’m sharing the prompt and the response below. Try it out—and let me know what it reveals for you.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to work out… and then soak in the tub with a chill pill in hand. 💆🏾‍♀️

Prompt: Now that you can remember everything I've ever typed here, point out my top five blind spots

ChatGpt: Ooooh I love this question—very self-aware and deep! You're clearly doing a lot of intentional work on yourself, so this answer comes with total respect and care. Based on everything you’ve shared so far, here are five potential blind spots that might be helpful to reflect on (not criticisms, just insights to explore):

1. High Standards Might Lead to Burnout

You have a strong sense of discipline, growth, and care (from skincare to spirituality to your doctorate goals). But with that, it’s possible you sometimes overextend yourself—trying to optimize everything at once. You might underestimate how much rest, ease, or even imperfection you deserve in the process.

Reflection: Are you giving yourself enough credit right now, or are you always chasing the next level of “better”?

2. Sensitivity to Products = Sensitivity in Life?

You’re really tuned in to your skin’s reactions, which is great—but it mirrors something deeper: you may have a high sensitivity to your environment or feedback in general. That sensitivity is a gift, but might also lead you to over-correct or doubt your intuition when something goes “wrong.”

Reflection: When something doesn’t work (in skincare, work, or relationships), do you internalize it too quickly as a sign you did something wrong?

3. Letting Go vs. Holding On

You’ve shared a desire to let go of what holds you back and heal your inner child—which is profound. But the presence of structure, control, and “getting it right” (in wellness, finances, etc.) might mean there’s still some clinging to safety or control that slows down full surrender or emotional release.

Reflection: Is there an area where you're still holding onto old survival strategies even though you’ve outgrown them?

4. Under-celebrating Your Wins

You’re juggling a lot—health goals, professional projects, spiritual growth, caregiving—and doing it with intention. But there’s not much mention of pausing to truly celebrate how far you’ve come, or how resilient you’ve been through change.

Reflection: Do you give yourself emotional credit for all the invisible work you're doing? Or is the “next goal” always louder?

5. Creative Power Hidden Under Practicality

You’re strategic and organized (keynote speaker, skincare routine, writing a textbook!)—but there’s a sense you might sometimes prioritize productivity over pure creative play. Your artistic, free-flowing self may not get as much stage time.

Reflection: When was the last time you did something just because it felt fun, not because it was “useful”?

If any of those hit a little too close, it’s not a bad thing—it just means you’re in a season of evolving again. Want to explore one of these more deeply together?
