Two more Stonewood books are coming: Fixation (a Ros and Knox prequel, free for newsletter subscribers) and A Heart Full of Obsession (next in the Stonewood timeline after A Smile Full of Lies, starring Detective Alyssa Allen and her very own masked man, teased as just a blink-and-you-missed-it easter egg in ASFOL).
My cover artist is running a sale right now and I'd love to catch both books at that price before it closes, plus get a print wrap done for Fixation so it can be a shelf trophy, too. That's $90 for Fixation's cover + print wrap, and $90 to lock in A Heart Full of Obsession's cover and print wrap, too. That's $180 total, and every bit helps me get on my artist's calendar sooner.
What's in it for you:
Name a FMC, MMC, or villain (one name, first or last, your pick, and I reserve the right to mix and match whatever comes in, so your first name could end up paired with someone else's last name)
Name a street in Stonewood or Silver Grove (another Gulf Coast small town dark romance series coming in the future)
Name a side business (restaurant, florist, a bar, whatever the stories need as I continue to write and deepen the lore), and if you go this route, my artist friend can eventually design real fan merch around it: shirts, mugs, the works, and you can show them off to your friends as something you had a hand in creating
An in-universe shoutout: a character scrolling and liking a post from your real TikTok or Instagram, or your account leaving a fictional comment (which I'd collaborate with you on to make sure it's your voice and tone) on one of my fictional masked men's videos, etc. Hopefully, that'll spark readers to look up the @ name and check out your awesome account!
However you show up for this, whether that's a naming perk or just a few dollars with no perk attached, you're getting a mention in the acknowledgments. Props where props are due, always.
I haven't set prices on any of these yet, so if you have thoughts on what feels fair, tell me. I'm also genuinely open on whether to do this with set prices per perk over on PayHip versus donations here on BMC, whichever's easier for you guys, and I haven't decided on limited spots versus staying open indefinitely, so weigh in if you've got a preference. And if we go over goal, that overage can either roll over into covering funding for cover costs and things like that on the next book, A Mind Full of Vengeance, or it can go toward an annual subscription for a new ARC team platform I'm looking at, your call.
