At 75 years old, I am taking a leap of faith.
After years of searching, writing, sketching, and listening to the silent whispers of the soul, I find myself drawn back to the East Coast of Malaysia—to Terengganu. There, close to the sea, I hope to begin a new and final chapter: to open a simple art studio, and eventually a gallery, not just for myself, but for the local children.
I want to give freely what life has taught me—to teach art to the young ones in the kampung, no tuition, no expectations. Just a space where pencils become voices, colors become prayers, and silence becomes creation.
I have no income. No pension. I live with my children, who have generously given me a roof and warm hearts. But this next step—I feel—is one I must take with the help of those who have known me through this blog, through the sketches, through the spirit that has passed between us.
