Thirty $5 Tim Hortons coffee cards delivered to Northeast Community Health Centre Emergency.

It was very, very busy there. To respect patient privacy I cannot use the photo I took with the coffee cards so here's a crummy photo through my windshield instead.

When I said hello to the screener at the front door and told her what I was there for, she asked if I'd also been to Fort Sask last week!

She's an RT, covering the screening desk for someone's break, and had received one during her shift there!

She offered to take them in to the charge nurse and I agreed - so off she went. When she came back, she asked how they came to be so I explained the fundraiser. She was pretty surprised by how many chipped in. I made sure to let her know about the nomination from Megan R.

Three new donations today, bringing the our total to $5334.33 from 155 donors. There's 20 departments worth left with 390 cards ($1950) delivered to 13 facilities.

Tomorrow night is the Royal Alexandra DOR PACU after nomination from Chloe C: "This unit went from being the operating room post-anaesthesia care unit to a strictly COVID-19 unit. All of the staff are amazing and I know that it would be so appreciated there."
