I am originally a traditional artist, however, due to University I had to stop drawing for a few years.I promised myself that I would draw again once I completed university. I kept my promise and I started drawing again last year.
I decided that I wanted to change to digital. I feel like am starting all over again and I realized that I needed to learn about anatomy and color theory. Because am a self-taught traditional artist, I learned by looking at references (mostly anime) and drawing them, but I only focused on drawing and not coloring.
I feel like I understand shading better but I still need to learn more about anatomy and lighting. The attached image is an old drawing of anime style wallpaper I had found on Google images.
