Bambu Lab X1C-P1S - THE MUFFLER

Hey there! Here you can find my take on the ultimate silencer for our X1C or P1S.

I've designed and tested 10 different models before landing on this result.

With about a 14.5 dB reduction, not bad to achieve a 20% noise reduction without the need for foams or other sound-absorbing materials.

I printed the piece in PETG CF because I've noticed that carbon-loaded materials have a greater absorption power compared to pure colored materials.

To keep THE MUFFLER attached to your printer, you'll just need 4 cylindrical magnets, 8x2 mm, available anywhere, and 4 drops of super glue. Enjoy the print and the noise reduction you'll get.

If you have a P1S, you’ll have a frame to print that you’ll attach to the back panel with double-sided tape. It will also have four magnets, so you can easily remove the muffler if needed.
