Hi there, it is only THREE weeks until Cobbles and Cogs. Merciful Grace is polishing everything she can get her hands on. I was looking after fish for my neighbour while she moved. They were returned them pronto when Merciful suggested we create a fish polisher.
It's an odd experience sharing my head with a machine sentience. She is very organised but, like me, a bit time blind. I have to remind her that 1:00 am is the best time for humans to sleep, not practise the ukulele.
We will perform two sets at Duke box's latest entertainment idea at Cobbles and Cogs. Busk stops.
I have put a set together, and lately, I have been practising on an unlikely group of musicians at the Wonston Arms in Hampshire. They have a traditional folk style sing-a-long every 1st and 3rd of each month. They are also a fantastic way to test audience participation in a friendly non-tomato throwing atmosphere.
My latest song is 'How will we find the missing spaceships?' which is a filk song of 'What shall we do with a drunken sailor?' I will be testing it at the buskstop at Cobbles and Cogs on September 10th and 11th. I hope to have someone come along and film it so we can share it with the world.
My performance times are:
Saturday:-10:30-10:45 Busking at Busk Stop 2 Milestones upstairs cafe
Sunday:-10:30-10:45:- Merciful Grace will be serving up her tea time tunes at Busk stop 1
I wanted to be outside talking to the queues, but that was in the time of Covid, and I fervently pray we NEVER return to those times.
Remember, you can buy your tickets here, including an annual museum pass that gets you into both days.
