One of the most impactful things a person can do to help another is to support their small business. Something as simple as helping them spread the word about their services can make a big difference.
My friends and supporters can help me extend my reach just by subscribing to my LinkedIn newsletter, Nonprofit911. When you do, others in your network will see that you have subscribed and the number of subscribers will continue to grow to impressive new heights. When you react to, comment on, or share the post (especially in the first hour) the algorithms show it to even more people. For a small business owner, that is gold!
Nonprofit911 is an honest effort to provide real and relevant resources and support to leaders of small nonprofits who can't afford and probably don't have time for a larger consulting project or training program. Each issue is focused on a timely topic, provides one good action step nearly anyone can take right away, includes a self-care tip, and points the way to a set of additional resources curated by me.
