Shone a Light on Local Government 💡
Hey there! I’m the founder of Catalyst Civic.
I believe local government should be completely transparent. But let’s face it—important public decisions are usually buried inside hundreds of pages of unsearchable, messy PDFs.
To fix that, I've spent late nights building custom data pipelines and indexing over 113,000 rows of public records to make local budgets, meetings, and transcripts searchable and accessible to everyone for free.
How you can help:
This project is entirely independent, and keeping the databases running, indexed, and free takes time and server power. Buying me a "coffee" (or a byte of data!) directly funds:
Database hosting & server costs to keep the platform fast and online 24/7.
Pipeline upgrades to parse and upload public documents even faster.
Independence, keeping this tool 100% free of corporate or political spin.
If you believe in a community where everyone has access to the facts, consider supporting the build! 🛠️
