The biggest comment I received about her recipes was from people wishing they had been left such a treasure by a relative who they loved to cook with. I feel this so deeply, because the women in my family have always been a "pinch of this and dab of that" kind of chef. I don't think I ever once saw any of them crack a cookbook!
