If you’re planning to buy a Meta Quest 3 (or any Meta Quest headset), there’s a simple way to start with $35 in free store credit.
This comes from Meta’s referral system. When you activate your headset using a referral link, both you and the person who referred you receive credit automatically!
How the Referral Works
Getting the $35 credit is straightforward:
Use a referral link before activating your headset -
Set up your Meta Quest as usual
The $35 credit is added to your account after activation
There are no extra steps or forms to fill out. --> click here to use my referral! <--
Once applied, the credit can be used toward anything in the Meta Quest store, including:
VR games
Apps and experiences
In-store purchases
For most people, this is enough to cover their first game!
*Important*
To qualify for the referral bonus, the link must be used before the headset is activated.
If your device has already been set up, the credit typically won’t apply. If you’re waiting on delivery, it’s worth setting this up in advance.

Earning Credits Yourself
After setting up your account, Meta will generate your own referral link.
From there, you can:
Share it with friends
Earn store credit when they activate their headset
It’s not a huge payout, but it’s an easy way to pick up additional credit over time.
Optional: Stack Cashback on Your Purchase
If you’re buying your headset online, you may be able to reduce the cost further by using cashback platforms like Rebatesme, Rakuten or BeFrugal.
Depending on the retailer, this can allow you to:
Earn cashback on the purchase
Still receive the $30 Meta referral credit
A small step, but worth checking before you buy.

When it comes to sharing referral links, I maintain a strict standard of authenticity and integrity. I only recommend sites and services that I personally use and believe in. Unlike some bloggers who may promote any platform just to earn commissions, I prioritize quality over quantity. My goal is to provide genuine value to my readers by ensuring that every site I recommend is trustworthy, reliable, and beneficial. If I wouldn’t use it myself or if I have doubts about a company’s ethics or service, you won’t find it here. Your trust matters to me, and I strive to keep it by being selective and honest in all my referrals.
