Love stories that just aren't moving forward,
or maybe just aren't supposed to.
Monday's Release "Just consider I did" ft. Hans got moved to 2.8.2021 at 4.30 PM. Don't worry, that's okay. It really is.
I can't make a promise for these video releases on youtube like I can for the release of my single "Today feels like yesterday", the 2 following singles, and my album #neverthesame - what do you see - that will be released before the end of 2021. So do look forward to those dates with me, because they are actually already set in stone... (I'll let you in soon enough)
But, I can promise what the next song will be and if you don't know it yet, it is "Just consider I did" ft. my bandmate Hans on the bass. So excited to have the first feature on Monday's Release.
*if this is confusing please do scan through my previous posts where I explain or introduce all that I have to offer or visit the website, Instagram, Facebook or where ever you like.
Because we had to have a couple of extra rehearsals for our gig past Saturday @de_loereman (Aalst, BE) we didn't finish the recording but I did already have a poem ready to be posted today that kinda has a similar vibe`
"Just consider I did" is a song about falling in love with somebody who isn't into you and shames you for it. But you actually did share a moment or two but they just aren't moving forward, so instead of being conflicted or confused because of the grand moments that you got to share. You let go, knowing that you are capable to love. That you love and that that love is yours. But you decide whom to share it with...
For this poem, I chose "Crazy man's head". Now in this situation, she doesn't know. She loves her partner and fails to see that he is bad for her because sometimes he is good to her. So there is no getting out of the relationship in this poem although it is meant to help you figure out whether that should be what you need to do to be happy. Because you deserve to be treated well. This is a poem, but I also hear melody with this one, so don't be surprised if at some point I do turn this one into a song.
Crazy man's head
Whatever goes on in a crazy man’s head
doesn’t really matter when you turn up dead
Right around the corner
where the door is closed
Tears are rolling down
and her skin’s exposed
Blood and scars and bruises
are all she has to show
With all that’s going on
why doesn’t she know
that
Whatever goes on in a crazy man’s head
doesn’t really matter when you turn up dead
Right around the corner
where the door is closed
Tears are rolling down
and her skin’s exposed
Blood and scars and bruises
are all she has to show
with all that’s going on
why doesn’t she know
‘cause sometimes there’s that big old spark
she sees it in his eyes
He finds the right words
holds her tight
and truly makes her smile
Says she means the world and more
no other reason worth living for
How quickly she forgets that
How quickly she forgets
that
Whatever goes on in a crazy man’s head
doesn’t really matter
when you turn up dead
Right around the corner
where the door is closed
Tears are rolling down
and her skin’s exposed
Blood and scars and bruises
are all she has to show
with all that’s going on
why doesn’t she know
CHEERS!

I DREAM of making a bundle one day. With your help and support and choices, we can work towards achieving that dream.
Ah the crispy sound of a brand new book. The smell and touch of grainy recycled brown pages... A hard cover, made/ready to be judged.
Mm, maybe you can help direct me here to a creator who might help bring the poems to life with drawings and help design the cover... Or do you want to collab?!
