I love this forest.
Mukundara Hills Tiger Reserve is not just a name on a map for me. It is a living landscape of hills, valleys, dry forest, rivers, wetlands, birds, mammals, reptiles, insects, grasses, trees, field stories, and people who care deeply about it.
I want this forest to thrive.
That is why we are building MHTR.in.
The purpose of this website is to spread awareness about Mukundara Hills Tiger Reserve through authentic, evidence-based, researched, and carefully reviewed information. We want people to understand the forest beyond headlines, rumours, tourism talk, or scattered documents.
We are creating a public knowledge base where citizens, students, researchers, ecologists, biologists, naturalists, field workers, and local people associated with MHTR can find and contribute reliable information.
This effort is also about giving visibility to the people doing real work on the ground: local research fellows, biologists, ecologists, naturalists, and observers whose knowledge often remains scattered or unseen.
Our dream is to build a platform where local knowledge, field reports, biodiversity records, official documents, maps, photographs, and research can come together in one conservation-safe place. A knowledge base that keeps improving over time. A resource that helps awareness, education, research, and ultimately conservation.
We are careful about what we publish. We do not share sensitive wildlife locations, live movement, nesting sites, den sites, or anything that can put species or habitats at risk. The goal is not exposure. The goal is understanding.
But this work takes time.
It takes field work, documentation, reading, verification, writing, translation, image preparation, web development, hosting, design, and constant maintenance. It takes logistics. It takes hard work. And it cannot grow properly without support.
So I am asking for help.
