Hi, I’m Jamie — a Canadian educator, researcher, and storyteller, and the creator of Canadian Grit: North of Ordinary.

I’m not simply building a brand; I’m building a Canada worth listening to.

I'm a PhD candidate (ABD) in Educational Sustainability, and my passion is making complex ideas accessible to everyone.

My podcast, writing, and public engagement synthesizes sustainability, holism, history, politics, mental health, existentialism, and pop culture. My principal goal is to offer a unique, community-based perspective of "Canada."

Our work is rooted in genuine care, curiosity, connection, and the reciprocity of human dignity, trust, and love. My endeavour is to democratize knowledge; to build something not only for scholars or insiders, but for all of us—from students to seniors, from every background, and from every walk of life.

That's who we're meeting, and will meet on Canadian Grit.

This project is about, and for, *all of us.* Our shared stories, our quiet strength, and our most basic human need to be cared for, nurtured, to feel heard, and to belong to something bigger than ourselves.
