About The Caminoist - Dana Stinson
Making memories and sharing experiences on the Camino De Santiago
As an international aid worker, I spent much of my adult life traveling and working in some of the most challenging countries in the world. In 2012, I joined a longtime friend for a portion of the Camino Francés with little preparation and no real expectations—just a need for time away from a stressful job. What started as a simple break from a busy life became a passion. After losing my work in 2025 I began sharing my experience from various Camino walks through my Instagram site and blogs published on substack and wordpress. Camino walking offered me something increasingly rare: time unplugged from emails and screens, space to breathe, and a deeper connection to the history, culture, and rhythm of daily life in the places I was visiting. I now endeavor to share that experience and that passion with others. Thanks for your support!
