Happy New Year from Camila + Pythagoras! 🌟🐾
Pythagoras’s New Year message:
We’re going into the new year gently. Small steps. Cozy progress. Paws on patrol. 🥳🍾
Yesterday was zine release day!! The zine pieces are officially declassified 🎉 Hope everyone takes a chance to check out the other amazing artists and poets featured on @The.Dreams.Of.Electric.Sheep on instagram <3
Can you guess the prompt? :P
Studio notes:
I’ve been doing little pear studies; keeping them small and cozy, focusing on color + light, and letting “practice counts” be the whole point 🍐I'd like to learn a bit more on creating painterly like works on Procreate, so far I have tried Oils from the Procreate brush library (I am loving the 5.4 update). I might try Pastels next or Paints.
Next steps: more short studies with a different lighting setup… and I might start recreating some of the Pokémon Z-A painting pieces just for fun/practice (I am rank Y at this point in time, but I hope to rise to A rank hehe 🅰️). Slowly trying to get back into playing and maybe level up on my Animal Crossing Island (Honeydew) as we get closer and closer to the Jan 15th update. Whoo!
In closing, 2025 was a tumble of a year for me personally and artistic wise. I hope to bring a better energy and consistency for 2026. Who knows maybe I'll find my spot in the world alongside my sweet Pythagoras 🥰🐯
Camila + Pythagoras signing off!
2026 goals: small studies • cozy practice • playful recreations • steady momentum 🐾✨
