DON'T WAIT FOR A BREAKDOWN TO TAKE A BREAK

Maybe you also have reached that point in life where you can't remember how rest truly feels like and the concept of chill is but an expression and wishful thinking.

Well, I have. And I know it's hard to rewire our brain to take a step back and chill because we are too bombarded with life's pressure --responsibilities and overwhelming circumstances outside of our control. It's a valid struggle even if you feel like nobody gets it. So often we feel like "we can't afford to take a break". But I learned being rested is not about that grand vacation or a long weekend on the beach. Being rested is much more of an inner state than out. Sitting on the beach while watching the sunrise is great and so is melting on the couch on a Wednesday! It's not about where you at but the quality of your thoughts at the moment of rest --it can be blank, slowly thinking of the next task, or reading a good book, whatever really.

Let go of that nonsense guilty feeling of not doing enough --you're still here despite the trials, you've done great! The most important element of your rest is knowing YOU DESERVE IT! 🥂✨
