There’s something sweet about knowing that, no matter how much you think you’ve messed up or how many mistakes you’ve made, God will always love you. He has seen us at our worst, and He knows what is best. Even in our lowest moments, the moments where we’re hanging on for dear life, He’s there with His hands open wide, ready to catch us if and when we fall. Sometimes you can’t focus on what you see or don’t see. Sometimes you have to see the world through His heart. Sometimes you have to see yourself through His heart to realize just how much He really loves you.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. —
