SOLDIER OF FORTUNE

It was the second song on my Calm Covers album. I recorded this cover around 2017-2018. I listened to the original song repeatedly, analyzing what the acoustic guitar, bass guitar, and electric guitar were doing, and the rhythm the drums were playing. I taught myself these details and interpreted them with the instruments I had at hand. I also managed to adjust the song's key to fit my vocal range. In fact, I added a short electric guitar riff to my recording that wasn't in the original song. A few friends and I enjoy listening to this cover and the others, but because social media algorithms prioritize thirty pieces of content that haven't been worked on enough over a single good song shared once a month, no one else is able to see or listen to it.
