A few months in seems like eternity!😫

Hopefully, everyones start of the school year has been pretty good!…Well, I mean, overall!! I’m not ambivalent to the real deal, I guess wishful thinking for sure!

Whew Chile, it’s been a crazy start for me to say the least. We have had teachers to quit. You maybe thinking 🤔 you’re the queen of teacher support and advocate?!?! You didn’t intervene or tried to encourage them to stay? …Nope! I didn’t. Im also a realist, everyone isn’t built to be a teacher. 💥 Bam, drop the mic! Let’s keep it real here in this room!

It takes a special, talented, loving and a person who believes in children, like Dr Rita Pearson. Her famous quote, “Every Child Deserves A Champion in their Life”. It takes HEART ❤️ work to do this HARD 💪🏾work.

I know you’re that teacher, that rock star, that champion, that believer who shows up for their students everyday.

Let’s talk about you showing up… please take care of you FIRST! You’re no good to anyone until you take care of you FIrst!

That’s what I advocate, encourage and empower teachers to do! (Those who belong there)
