A guy on Discord has asked me this question some time ago and today I decided to write a post about that question.
Online and offline privacy is a major concern of me. And it's mostly because I don't want a random stranger to know information such as my full name, where I live and stuff like that.
Now you may ask me the question "What does my face has to do with all that information?" and you're right on that.
Answer is our current face recognition tech is advanced enough to find a persons right identity from right data. And the country I live had a huge data leak that leaked more than 60 million peoples information online last year. Which probably includes the most updated information about me.
And that data is probably enough to identify me using my full name and photo. This is why I'm doing that.
We aren't living in a perfect world and you'll never know what people will do with things you provide to them.
