March is a strange month! So dynamic! One week things are warm and starting to thaw and get even green! And the next week we’re all under a foot of white snow. But, inevitably… We can feel the movement toward the spring.
And that’s how it is with Singing right now. There’s movement. Fueled by the grief and challenge and harmony of these last months in Minnesota. So many new songs, so many songs in our hearts and mostly the one song of being together.
We continue to meet every week and sing, and I cannot stress how important that has become to me as an individual and for our whole community. It is the rudder on our ship.
There’s a wonderful event coming up in April at which I am leading songs… there are a number of wonderful speakers, one of whom is my hero Matthew Fox! He wrote a controversial book called Original Blessing that got him kicked out of the Catholic Church! Maybe he’s a saint! Here’s that event:
Also, In May I’m looking forward to singing every morning at the Great Mother Conference in Maine! Join me there if you can.
And next fall, I look forward to leading community singing every morning at the Minnesota Men’s Conference on Sturgeon Lake.
Meet me there if you can.
Hugs, and so much gratitude for you and your support! Good things are happening. Singing is our great medicine.
Timothy.
