Hello Good People,
I’m writing to you from my dark sleeping room. I awake at 4:30 in the morning, grab a cup of coffee and go through my song list. I am at the great mother conference, an annual meeting of seekers, poets, singers, musicians, and teachers. I get to bring morning singing for one hour each day. It’s so wonderful to wake up Singing for an hour. Thank you for your support here on Buy Me A Cup of Coffee and in so many ways. At the end of this school year, I will finally be letting go of teaching and move completely into music. This is not a move that is not foreign to me and I am again excited to be 100%.
I am writing a lot of community songs these days and I hope to start recording songs soon. One of my main goals this coming year is to record our community songs that we love so much so that everyone can listen to them when they’d like. They can pass them around. They can teach them. I can feel held by them as they drive across the country.
The stars are bright here. The loons are calling.
