Island Fox Mini Print: Donation Summary #2

Jun 18, 2026

Alright, alright, alright (please read that in your best Matthew McConaughey voice).

I’m thrilled to share that, for the first time in Born to Make Things (BTMT) history - which is admittedly a very short history, considering this whole adventure started in February 2026 - we are making a second donation to an organization through one of our fundraising prints.

Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of joining the wonderful folks from the Channel Islands National Park Foundation (CINPF) in Ventura, CA at their table during Topa Topa Brewing Company’s Eleventh Anniversary Party. It was such a joy to meet their Executive Director, Jess, several board members, and members of the BAER (Burned Area Emergency Response) team who are helping support the recovery of Santa Rosa Island.

The event also led to another BTMT first: in-person print sales! Those sales, combined with the incredible support from all of you, helped us reach - and quickly surpass - our second $50 fundraising goal. Together, we’ve just donated another $83.77 to the CINPF.

I may share a more diary-style recap of that day in a future post, if only because I want an excuse to publicly thank my incredibly supportive partner. They’ve been cheering me on throughout this printmaking journey and are responsible for some of my favorite kitchen “studio” upgrades, including the cutting mat and kick-ass toolbox that make all of this a little easier and a lot more fun.

For now, though, here are the details and proof of the donation:
