The ASTROTAP is an expressive stutter effect, inspired by the radical concept of the kill switch. But this is more than just cutting the sound — it’s about unleashing complex rhythmic patterns that live under your foot, ready to erupt at will.

Its minimalist interface is built for performance and improvisation. The two momentary footswitches are your flight controls:

SWITCH 1 (ASCENDING): Triggers a rhythmic pattern that gradually accelerates — from a slow pulse to a burst at light speed.

SWITCH 2 (DESCENDING): Launches the opposite pattern — a controlled deceleration from fastest to slowest.

Hold the switch to loop the pattern and create an infinite rhythmic layer. Release it, and your original sound returns instantly, untouched.

Each ASTROTAP is carefully designed and hand-assembled with artisan precision in our workshop in Nice, France.
