This is my digital home base for my blog posts and writings, hosting the creator spotlight interviews I’m starting to do, feature my game dev portfolio, and talk about my game development journey and projects.
Unfortunately at this time, my domain (aka website url), is throwing errors for some mobile data carriers…mine included.
If you can’t access bloomzeyestudio.com directly, the default hosting link should work: https://11fdf3c.netsolhost.com/.
It’s still my website, just without my custom "bloomzeyestudio" domain.
Let me know if there’s anything wonky-looking that makes you go "mmm, should that be doing that?". I’m using a website template from a Chinese developer, and my programming software doesn’t have a built-in translator.
This means that I might miss a few things like fonts, default translations, and general quality of life aspects a standard website may have.
Someday I’ll be able to pay someone to properly get my website functioning. Until that day comes, ya got me!
Restructuring my Buy Me a Coffee Page…once again!
Since my life is taking another turn, as life does, I'm planning on changing my rewards by scaling them back. This is also because I want to focus more on growing how I share my art outside or relying on other people's platforms.
My goal is to restructure my Buy Me a Coffee page here to be more of a tip jar, with or without extra rewards. I like giving out rewards as a thank you, but I can't keep up with that dedication right now.
At least for the rest of this year as my goals and life shifts.
I also want my work to be more accessible and sharable without having to make yet another new account on any given platform, which is why I'm getting more into learning about email newsletter writing.
Email newsletter details
I’m finding my love for email newsletters, especially since I don’t have to create and new social media accounts to join the ones I’m finding.
My behind the scenes content, first looks at my projects, and other goodies will be more open and free to anyone who’s a part of my email newsletter…that I’m still working on.
Previously I was trying [Convert] Kit, but I switched to another platform that looks a lot simpler for me to start out in.
As I continue to pull my attention and energy away from major social media platforms, I want to turn that extra space into a foundation I want to build upon.
