How do you achieve HDRI lighting, this one is probably more for the noobs than seasoned vets!
So in order to use HDRI lighting you will firstly need and HDRI image, you can go to www.polyhaven.com/hdris or hdrihaven.om both are really good and good selection of free HDRI’s.
Select the one you want to use, whether it be a day image or night image to match your scene there will be plenty on their for your project.
Now you have your HDRI image it is time to use that image in your scene.
Open up your scene in Blender and go to World Properties little earth icon in red.
Select Color and change to “Environment Texture”, your scene will go pink this is because you haven’t selected your HDRI image yet.
Next select open and find your HDRI image once selected your scene will be lit by the image.
You can adjust the strength to make your scene brighter or darker.
That’s it that’s how you light a scene with a HDRI image.
